The tour included the study of litho logy in the area and to prepare the litho stratigraphic succession, field traverse map and study the various types of igneous intrusions in the area.
3. Mapping in Rajmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
The tour included the litho logical study of the various formation of KG basin.
A visit to Singareni Coal Mines to study the formation, types of coals and methods of Exploration of the coal.
A visit to National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad to study geophysical methods like Magnetic, Gravity and Seismic which are used in Oil and Mineral exploration.
Visited to Oil and Natural Gas Commission Base Camp, Rajmundry to study basic concepts of the formation, migration and accumulation of oil in the rocks and also attended the lectures on functions of well site geologist.
Visited land rig to study, drilling operations and Mud logging unit.
4. Hydro geological mapping in Pabal area of Pune district :
Traverse has been taken in basalt area with respect to hydro geological properties and their functions.
5. Visited and studied the landslides in mahad region of Maharashtra.
This fieldwork was to study the major landslide affected area of Mahad region and again consulting with people.
