National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites application from interested and
eligible candidates on Contract for the post of Site Engineer at a consolidated pay as
indicated below.

Site Engineer – Electrical - 9X135 MW CPP
- Strategically planning, analyzing & conceptualizing the basic requirements while setting up the technical infrastructure of industrial projects, reviewing all the project proposals.
- Liaising with external agencies, clients & consultants for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances.
- Identifying & finalizing the contractors ensuring quality supply of materials for effective project development. Accountable for bill checking of contractor & workmanship while preparing drawings.
- Following the project from start to finish and make any necessary changes along the way, ensuring that the procedure is being followed while checking the safety features of the project during the time it is being completed.
- Developing plans for the project to ensure effective management, including the control of site progress, resolutions of site problems, control of site meetings etc.
- Trouble-shooting of live and working systems at customer’s sites. Also providing customer support to various sites for maintenance of Systems.
- Erection, maintenance and operation of 6.6 KV switchgear panels and 415V MCC and PCC panels.
- Maintenance and operation of 415V VCB and ACB and HT & LT panels.
- Testing and trial operation of HT & LT motors
- Erection and commissioning of Make up water pump house.
- Erection of 2000kVA 6.6KV/415V dry type Transformer
- Changeover schemes & Interlocks of HT&LT Switch Gear.
- Working with commissioning wing at the time of plant commissioning.
- Earthing and commissioning of all types of HT & LT panels, HT & LT motors, transformers and Switchyard.
- Study of SLD and Control drawings.
- Routing and laying of electrical cable trays with optimization.
- Installation and commissioning of high mast lighting and road lighting.
- Erection of 1010 KVA DG Set and DG panels.
- Testing of HV and LV Motors, HT and LT cables, CT, PT and LA and of VCB and ACB.
- Erection of CCMS panels.
