Currently workings as Hospitality industry, since 2 years as Front Office Assistant in “The Hans Hotel” Star
Hotel in Puri. During this ongoing tenure I am responsible for all the financial and operational activities
in the Front Office and other core departments. The work includes : - Ensure setting up the systems and
procedure of the Hotel. Support the overall strategic management of the Hotel. Increase the brand image
of the Hotel. Ensure proper market mix, inventory and rate management to achieve the maximum average
room rate through inventory & yield management. Work closely with the sales & marketing department in
planning room requirements & assignment, price allocation and rooming list etc for all the tour & convention
groups as well as important guests. To build an effect team of employees & ensure smooth & efficient
operation of the department maintaining the highest possible service standards. Selling, register guest and
assign guest room as per their requirements. Co ordinate guest service. Maintaining the proper reservation
status. Provide the information of the hotel, the surrounding the community and any attraction or events
of interest to the guests. Maintain the accurate room status information and room key inventories Maintain
guest account, monitoring credit limits and follow up the pending bills and payments. Produce guest account
statements and complete proper financial settlements. Ensuring proper Billing Reporting to General Manager
about the Suggestions/drawbacks/complaints /area where need improvements

Principal Activities & Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling and delegating work to the Front Desk, Reservations, PBX, Bell,
Valet and Transportation departments.

established daily wage management techniques, time and attendance payroll
management software, and appropriate adjustments to the proportionality of business
needs to staffing levels.
- Ensure all management directions and guest special requests or needs are properly
noted in the Micros Property Management System for action by the appropriate hotel
department prior to check-in.
- Prepare all weekly and monthly reports in accordance with required quality standards
and established deadlines.
- Responsible for promoting the hotel core values : Honesty, Personal Integrity, and
Team before Self.
- Maintain appearance standards as outlined in departmental and TRC policies.
- Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities &
marketing programs to our guests.
- Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all Team Members.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- Other duties as directed by management.
