Job Description:

This will be an excellent opportunity as most of the expenses like bachelor accommodation, medical insurance, life insurance, Food allowance, local transport, laptop, phone & air tickets are covered by the company. Also company will give 5 working paid holiday with air tickets to Pune/hometown depending on visa duration (generally every 6 months)

To provide operations and engineering support, project management services and customer liaison for MoorMaster units installed at the Port of Salalah, Oman. The Support Engineer will carry out a wide range of duties as part of a flexible workforce. In general the product champion will take the project through to completion and hand over fully to the customer and monitor for a given period to provide trouble free mooring.

Requirements:
• Ensure MoorMaster units (special machines) are operated correctly following agreed procedures and carry out training of Customer staff and contractors as required.
• Coordinate both preventative and breakdown maintenance utilising client staff or contractors.
• Maintain detailed records of mooring operations, maintenance carried out and spares inventory.
• Ensure design problems are correctly communicated to our engineers and that corrective actions are followed up on and implemented in a timely manner.
• Customer liaison keeping customers informed throughout operations, maintenance, engineering and project phases
• Provision of engineering support to other CMM and wider Cavotec sales and engineering staff.
• Prepare, review and maintain CMM product documentation.
• Analyses issues and makes systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information.
• Understands and applies commercial and financial principles. Views issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value.
• Demonstrates a readiness to make decisions, take the initiative and originate action.
• Commits self to work hard towards goals. Shows enthusiasm and career commitment.
• Establish and maintain fortnightly meetings with the customer throughout the post commissioning phase. This is to include meetings with Port Control Staff, Pilots, Operators & Maintenance staff to discuss and address MoorMaster matters.

• Strong knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics & special purpose machines.
• Hands on experience of Hydraulics & Pneumatics maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of schematic drawings used for Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
• Basic knowledge of controls, sensors & control devices.
• A strong track record in engineering support, maintenance and project management handling end to end projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and team skills to achieve a positive working rapport with internal and external contacts.
• Exposure to processes involved in commercialization of new products.
• Organises and schedules events, activities and resources. Sets up and monitors timescales and plans.
• Successful co-ordination of site activities associated with machine commissioning.


IT Skills:
Demonstrates strong skills in Windows, MS Office.

Project Undertaken :-
DTMF Device Controller Using Mobile
DTMF Device Controller using mobile is microcontroller based circuit. This circuit has a step down transformer, a DTMF to binary converter IC (IC 9170), functional numeric display to display the operation, and a relay.
A landline jack is connected to the circuit. When there is ring, the DTMF decoder(IC 9170) detects the ring and receives the call after a time delay which can be controlled through coding. The IC upon receiving the call senses the DTMF tones which it converts to binary, the microcontroller (IC AT 89C51) checks the password, if it matches then it switches ON or switches OFF the relay accordingly.
This device is used to turn on and off any home appliance.

Main project : Wet Gas Compressor using safety interlocking system

The objective of this project is to propose an efficient safety system for gas compressors using PLC. Project was done at BPCL KOCHI REFINERY.
Mini project : Smart Plant Irrigation
The Project presented here waters our plants regularly when we are out for vacation. The circuit comprises of sensor parts built using an op-amp IC LM324. Op-amp’s are configured here as a comparator. The Microcontroller AT89C2051–12PU is used to control the whole system and it also monitors the sensors. For different seasons, different conditions for dry and wet state are assigned according to the MATLAB program.
