- Oracle RAC internals.
- Oracle RAC installation, configuration ,patch application, monitoring win, Linux, AIX
-Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security in 24 X 7 environment.
Proactive monitoring of database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
-Providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
-Problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate.
Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as required by client.
-Performance and tuning.
-Standby and data guard configuration and monitoring.
-Migration and upgradation.
-Export-Import, Data pump, Rman, Backup and recovery.
-User Management.
-Skills / Attributes Required
-Proven Oracle Database RAC Administration experience.
-Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems
-Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service.
