Position Title : Product Manager, Clinical Solutions

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

POSITION LOCATION : - PUNE

Position Summary :
To provide clinical input and direction in Pune for Varian’s treatment management system. The
position reports to Manager, Treatment Management and DART, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Major responsibilities :
? Works with the other product managers to develop product strategy and roadmap for treatment
management and related strategic initiatives.
? Researches customer needs and recommends the development of new products and product
enhancements.
? Writes use cases and product requirements based upon user needs, the overall product portfolio
and the competitive environment.
? Works directly with the engineers in Pune to ensure an understanding of the requirements and
an implementation that thrills users.
? Provides clinical expertise to the product managers and engineers in Pune.
? Provides clinical expertise to quality review teams and in the preparation of hazard analyses;
reviews and prioritizes the correction of product discrepancies.
? Supports Product Marketing in the planning and execution of advertising and technical
literature programs and participates in technical conferences and trade exhibitions.
? Supports Product Marketing with technical and sales support especially during launch of new versions
? Coordinates the efforts of other departments, research, engineering, and manufacturing in order
to solve problems associates with the product line.
? Maintains an in-depth knowledge of our treatment management system.
? Support and influence research collaborations with customers.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Education :
? Bachelor of Science degree. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience :
? 5 years experience in a Radiation Oncology clinic.

Skills :
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
? Product Management or Product Marketing experience is a plus.
