Senior Analyst – Automotive & Logistics

Location : Hyderabad, India

Key responsibilities :

* As part of the broader Transportation and Distribution team, the candidate will work with our team address a range of strategic, technology, production, sales and operational issues in the Automotive Fleet, Aftermarket, Logistics and Express industry verticals.
* Research background\ experience in delivery of Industry reports and databases in the sector OR even broader business research domain; examples of areas covered include regulations and policies, technology developments (such as, location based products, aftermarket parts, automotive sales, vehicles, express parcels, shipment etc), demand and supply dynamics in various countries, pricing trends, etc.
* Have the necessary background\ experience in the research\ consulting industry and be able to lead the product ideation, development and end-to-end production. He\She should be able to provide the needed thought leadership for the team to function and product highly analytical output.
* Be a single point of contact for the Project Manager to manage the team associated with the candidate, consisting of Analysts and Associate Analysts. Review teams outputs and ensuring high quality deliverables, sets standards for timely deliveries and drive the team to provide in-depth analysis
* Has proven experience of working on datasets\ databases and producing compelling analytical output in reports\ ppt format, including exposure to estimation and mathematical modeling techniques.

Qualification and Experience

* Education : MBA / Degree in Economics/ Engineering from reputed institute
* Experience : Min. 3 years in business research, candidates with research experience\ background in Automotive and Logistics domain will be given a preference
* Skill set : Candidates should have managed\ worked on report writing assignments; in-depth industry and company analysis and have used industry standard databases. In addition working knowledge of MS Excel formulas\ modeling tools\ macros\ statistical analysis would be a plus.
