Job Summary :
As a Project Leader in the Product Development organization, you will work within a cross-functional development team on the development of our standard software product.
Responsibilities :
• Design, Development and Testing of all aspects of the Product feature set.
• Realizing Cross Functional Requirements, Front-End UI, and Back-End Framework.
• Planning and Delivering on Teams Commitments.
• Fixing Development and Customer problems in line with the Quality Policy.
• Experience in requirement gathering, dependency analysis, effort estimation, project planning is preferred.
• People Management.
• Report on status of product quality to management, customer support and product teams via rigorous execution of detailed plans and accurate reporting of test cases executed, bugs discovered, bugs fixed, etc.
Minimum Requirements :
• Experience of 7+ yrs. At least 2 + years of experience as a lead or as an architect.
• Technically strong in Java. Having experience on JSP, Servlets, Frameworks like Struts, JSF.
• Hands-on development experience with Web services and XML.
• Working experience with EJB.
• Strong knowledge on OO design including extensive design patterns & their applicability.
• Architectural experience in designing web 2.0 systems including considerations for scalability, maintainability & other non-functional requirements.
• Experience in product development with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is an added advantage.
• Experience (preferable) : Jbuilder IDE/Junit Testing/ANT build scripts/SUN Java certificate/ BEA Web logic.
• Working experience with Eclipse, Oracle.
• Preferable: Experience in agile software development projects.

Barclays bank PLC is one of the largest banks in UK. Barclays has its operations distributed across several locations. Data from various source systems is fed into the EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse). This process includes extracting the data from these source systems, applying transformations and loading the data after the query tuning and performance check. The process of Extraction, transformation, compare and loading of the Data from DB2 into the Data warehouse is done using the Teradata Client Utilities like Fastload and Multiload. Coding of the processes is done using Teradata SQL and Bteq scripts. These processes are scheduled to run daily, weekly or monthly. Barclays has observed a significant difference in terms of performance and cost after migrating to Teradata. Teradata SQL and Client Utilities have played a significant role in migrating the data to Data warehouse and achieving the expected gains.

Payroll consists of details of the employees, their office timings, departments, designations. The details of the no of leaves used, the status of the Sanction of the leave are saved. Total working hours of the employee are calculated by considering the sign on time in movement register. Account consists of details of the transactions done by the office.
