    Position : Java Software Engineer

    Serus Corporation, an industry leader in the emerging category of Intelligent Operations Management software, is looking for highly motivated and talented Java developers with passion, energy and smarts, to conceptualize, design and develop products to solve customer problems.

    Key responsibilities :

    * Innovate, Design and Develop products for Serus’ Intelligent Operations Management suite
    * Understand and Analyze software issues by reproducing them and finding root causes
    * Coordinate with QA and other teams to ensure that products of the highest quality reach customers
    * Coordinate issue resolution by working with deployment and support teams
    * Be customer focused and work with customers to resolve reported issues and cases
    * Willing to travel internationally if required

    Required skills :

    * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 3-5 years of equivalent work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
    * Experience developing J2EE/Java based Web User Interface applications in Windows/Linux environment
    * Required technical skills :
    o Languages, frameworks and tools : Java, Struts, Spring, JSP, HTML, XML, Java Script, Tomcat on Windows and/or Linux
    o Databases : Proficiency with SQL on at least one major database (Oracle, SQLServer, or MySQL)
    o Experience with Object Oriented Design Patterns
    * Preferred skills : Eclipse IDE, JMS, Web Services, ORM Mapping (Hibernate, OJB)
    * Experience in developing or integrating with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Procurement and Financial applications like ORACLE, SAP, PEOPLESOFT is preferred
    * Domain experience in semiconductor industry is a plus
    * Supply chain management Domain Knowledge is a plus
