Academic Background and Key Experience Requirements :
1. Graduate in any discipline preferably Metallurgical Engineering with Degree/Diploma in Marketing
2. Minimum 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing of Steel and Building products

Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Formulation of the detailed sales plan as per the Annual Sales Plan
2. Day-to-day monitoring of customer service delivery
3. Develop and manage customer relationship to improve customer satisfaction
4. Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
5. Represent the desired market image of Sujana to the desired customer base
6. Develop two-way dialogue between Operations/Product Marketing and customer base
7. Solicit, on an ongoing basis, sales orders necessary to support operational requirements
8. Project an image to the market place consistent with Sujana’s core values and competencies
9. Acquire and report market intelligence to operations and product marketing
10. Maintain customer communications utilizing travel, entertainment and electronic communication techniques in accordance with all Sujana’s Policies and Guidelines
11. Keep Sales Management & Product Marketing apprised of market competitive situations
12. Demonstrate Industry Group leadership role to Sales & Marketing teams
13. Selling at least 3000 tons of TMT per month at the price fixed by the Company
14. Collection of sale proceeds within reasonable time

Desired profile:
1. Complete understanding of steel operations
2. Excel, Word and Power point skills required
3. Strong in Communication & Interpersonal skills
4. Ability to lead and motivate a highly capable team
5. Very strong work ethic and negotiation skills
6. Management capability to organize and develop account plans and business plans and analyze performance against these plans
7. Should possess pleasing personality
8. Should have good contacts with TMT customers in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka (any one)
