Indian Air Force Career 2010 : Airmen
Indian Air Force invites applications from unmarried male Indian citizens (citizens of
Nepal are also eligible) for selection test in February 2011 to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’
(Technical) trades. THE SCHEDULED TEST IS NOT FOR SELECTION AS OFFICERS/
PILOTS/NAVIGATORS.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
(a) Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 with pass marks in
Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.
OR
(b) Should have passed a 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechnaical/
Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation
Technology/Information Technology ) with at least 50% marks from a Government
recognised Polytechnic Institute.
Note: Exact aggregate percentage of marks upto first place of decimal for all
subjects as mentioned in the Marks Sheet of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent
examination/3 years Diploma Course (For example, 49.9% should NOT be
rounded off to 50%).
AGE LIMIT. Born between 01 APRIL 1990 to 31 MAY 1994 (both days inclusive).
Tenure & Training. Enrolment is for an initial period of 20 years extendable up to the
age of 57 years

Last date for receipt of applications at the Central Airmen Selection Board is
