Indian Maritime University (IMU) invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts
on deputation basis / transfer on deputation basis . IMU was established by an Act of Parliament in
2008 in order to promote maritime studies and research and to achieve excellence in areas of marine
science and technology, marine environment and other related fields. IMU is the first of its kind in the
country created exclusively for the advancement of maritime studies. The University is in need of the
following officers and staff to manage the University system covering its campuses viz. Chennai,
Mumbai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam and Cochin with Headquarters at Chennai.
