Customer Admin Engineer,

Main Purpose of Role: Analyze the incidents and generate Rout cause analysis report and support COLT's technical function in line with business requirements

Key Tasks and Accountabilities
· Additional Responsibilities
·Manage and coordinate tasks assigned to other teams, such as Field Maintenance or TAC teams
· Manage and coordinate with other teams such as Service Assurance and TAC teams for taking inputs for incident reporting.
· Analyzing record of events in a fault duration from COLT's Remedy based Fault/ Management System
· Analyze the tickets raised in remedy
·Segregate the tickets for which the outage is accounted for.
· Check the reason for the outage.
· Create the reason for outage document for every customer service disruption that had occurred.
· Generate Network Performance report on a case to case basis.
· Send Emails to customers & update the remedy ticket with the detailed reason for outage to the customer.
· Interface with Service assurance team from time to time to collate information on fault.
· Interface with third party / other line operators to gather the reason for outage information.
· Execute internal tasks within operation level agreement (OLA)

Performance Indicators
· Isolate repeat incidents and provide resolution for repeat issues.
· Ensure repeat incidents are maintained at a low level.
· Meet Customer SLA from time to time.

Role Requirements Skills
· Good written communication is essential
· A logical approach in understanding technical issues.
· 3-5 years NOC/Telco contact centre experience
· Candidate should have an experience in handling customer faults/ trouble tickets in a fixed line / broad band telecom service provider contact centre for at least a year and preferably has interfaced with the TAC or level 2 Telco customer support handling faults.
· Brief experience on 2 of the following technologies is mandatory:
• IP, routing and switching
• DSL
• SDH
• Optical Fiber
• DWDM
• Ethernet
· Knowledge & Experience
· Developing knowledge of standard COLT processes and ways of working
· Has developed skills to perform basic tasks

Academic & Professional Qualifications Essential
· Desirable CCNA CCNP
· Educated to undergraduate level in IT or business related subject
· Graduate /Diploma in IT or Electronics
· Engineering Graduate in IT or Electronics
