Role purpose:
Develops, designs and implements new services to support colt's technical function in line with business requirements

Key Accountabilities:
Maintains standards for the data centre in line with best practice
Maintains processes and procedures relating to the data centre
Prepare disaster recovery plans for systems and services within the data centre Manages the facilities and physical environment of colt Internal Data Centres and other facilities such as communications rooms, ensuring that they comply with security management and controls, legal and regulatory requirements, best practice and exceed the required SLAs
Ensures the provision of hardware support and maintenance contracts for all installed equipment and supporting facilities
Ensures all environmental services are fully operational including power, air conditioning and security
Manages and reports on incidents relating to the data centre

Experience:
Is developing a deep knowledge of the individual technical area and has some experience of applying this
