Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer – Silverlight, 2-4 Years

Location : Bangalore

Job Description

REQUIRED SKILL SET :
* Expert on C*, Asp.Net, database, CSS, JavaScript, XML, .Net framework 3.0 and above, web services ,Silverlight , Linq, Design Patterns etc.,
* Extensively worked in web and client server applications.
* Strong knowledge on OOAD and OOPs.
* Good sense of design and usability.
* Strong communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities :
* Able to take the lead on a significant development module and capable of dealing with select management activities (such as possibly coordinating the activities of several team members).
* Own technical responsibility for any given tasks from code, functional validity and quality.
* Specify, create, modify, maintain, and test significant software component(s) that are part of a larger software project.
* Discuss the module, design, and deliverables with the team members and be aware of all the related required documentation.
* Judge adherence of design and code to standards.
* Ensure adherence to processes defined for the project.
* Regularly contribute to and conduct technical reviews (Design Reviews, Code Reviews) within the project.
* Participate in efforts to design multiple, integrated modules to meet particular requirements.
* Articulate the impact that project issues will have on other team members.
* Effectively document technical issues, changes to code, etc.
* Provide regular status and progress towards milestones with one’s lead/manager
* Maintain the integrity of assigned components within the (integrated) technical environment throughout the life cycle of the product.
* Work with Quality Analysts in order to determine quality and test metrics and plans.
* Become familiar with industry developments via trade journals, conferences, or educational opportunities. Propose ways to leverage these industry developments where appropriate in your specific project area.
* Makes performance recommendations on product design and implementation
* Regularly serve as a technical resource for others within the organization who need your understanding and expertise.

* Strong understanding of technology application or product being developed
* Provide technical module leadership for subcomponents of an identified effort.
* Be a champion for this module within the product effort.
* Lead and perform complex design and software development tasks within appropriate schedule, task, and quality guidelines set in conjunction with the Technical Lead / Project Lead / Project Manager of the project.
