    Our client is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Education Advocacy, to work collaboratively with the team based in New Delhi to develop and advocate the education reforms.
    As a member of the Campaign's senior leadership team, the Advocacy Director will assume full ownership of the Campaign's advocacy goals that involve elected representatives, policy makers and media towards educational reforms in India.

    Responsibilities :

    1.Developing strategies to achieve the goals, tactics for translating the principles of the campaign into sequential, actionable steps;
    2.Building and organizing the team, managing the budget, developing a network of support, continuously improving performance, and producing the outputs that will
    achieve goals;
    3.Executing multi-faceted campaigns : Supervising litigation, policy advocacy, outreach and other activities aimed at reforming educational system;
    4.Working collaboratively with coalition partners to identify concerns and craft achievable solution

    Qualifications & Skills :

    1.Successful track-record of EFFECTING CHANGE : Experience working on education reform campaigns that have used multi-pronged approaches to achieve concrete, measurable results;
    2.Experience in leadership roles in a corporate, government or non-profit environment, with increasing levels of responsibility of at least 7 years;
    3.Ability to build relationships with leaders in the government, corporate community, media and public arena; ability to reconcile the diverse needs of various stakeholders;
    4.Knowledge of customer relations, outreach, and strategic communication will be an advantage;
    5.Strong writing and communication skills in English as well as Hindi, other Indian languages will be an advantage;
    6.Ability to prioritize responsibilities and have fun in a fast paced work environment;
    7.Background in the fields of governance or legislative change is desirable;
