As a hardware engineering intern at QUALCOMM, you will work with programmable logic, digital signal processors, microprocessors, and ASICs on high-density circuit cards and gain hands-on knowledge during design validation and system integration. We are also looking for exceptional hardware designers who will design and develop full custom and semi-custom complex digital and RF/analog ICs for wireless network and communication systems.

Skills/Experience
Relevant skills include experience with:
-Verifying SoC with embedded RISC/DSP processors, communications/ networking ASICs.
-Verilog or VHDL, C/C++, Tcl/Perl/shell-scripting.
-RTL design experience and/or strong OO programming experience is also a plus.
-Knowledge of wireless/wired communications and protocols or graphics/video multi-media is a plus.
-Experience or project work in PLL, LNA, OpAmp, CMOS, ADC/DAC, Cadence, SpectreRF, or Layout is required in RF/Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design.

Project Title : A J2ME-BASED WIRELESS INTELLIGENT VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM USING MOVING OBJECT RECOGNITION TECHNOLOGY

Project Summary: This project to be implemented in a secured area to monitor the unauthorized object entering into the system and implemented in a small computing device (Mobile). The image is captured from webcam and stored it as reference object. If there is any Moving Object is recognized the Eigen face algorithm running inside the j2ee architecture compares the motion detected object with the reference object and viewed in the mobile.
