HR Assistant

Job Description
· Provide administrative support to HR Manager; including but not limited to: organizing and maintaining files; preparing letters; new hire paperwork coordination and follow ups
· Immigration documentation and routine follow ups
· Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database
· Handle confidential information with integrity
· Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Desired Experience & Skills
· Previous HR Experience working in the HR department in an IT Company for minimum 5 years +
· Minimum Bachelors Degree in Education
· PHR Certification (Preferred)
· Experience with supporting compensation strategies, payroll computation, hands on experience with Payroll packages like ADP/PAYCHEX. Conversant with immigration laws
· Must have experience with H1B/B1 VISAS
· Must have previous experience in supporting Benefits including, Health and Vacation Benefits
· Previous experience with new hire orientation, documentation, employment laws, I-9 compliances
· Previously helped in policy formulation and implementation
· Experience with Performance Management and Career Development initiatives
· Should have participated in Employee grievance handling and training activities
· Well conversant with HR Reports, previous experience with HRIS applications
· Experience with Exit interviews and final settlement computations
