Job Description :

* Very strong command on C programming language. C++ knowledge is an added advantage but not a must for the position.
* Sound understanding of Operating System Principles.
* Knowledge of application development and debugging in C/Linux environment.
o Understanding of Processes and Pthreads, Inter-Process communication and Memory management in Linux
o Fundamentals of application debugging in C/Linux environment using gdb.
* Basic Networking knowledge - Idea of Networking protocol stack, TCP/IP networking concepts.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Self motivated person believing in team work with a desire to accept challenges to learn and grow.

Minimum Education :

A Bachelor's/Master's Degree Holder in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. (Electronics / Communication Engg may also be considered).

Experience :

1 to 3 years. We may even look at fresh candidates if they meet the above mentioned criteria.

It provides computerized web-based data management operations to the stuff of the institute, such as student registration and batch management etc. Version 2.0 is planned to include student support and a robust online examination system, while version 3.0 should include an employee management system (payrolls etc). Currently being developed with ASP.net, JavaScript and SQL Server 2005, using Visual Studio 2010.

b) LibManager (Duration : Jan-Feb 2006):
A public library management system capable of assisting a librarian. Developed with Visual Basic and Oracle 8i. (Note : Academic project.)
