Your Role
Your role will be to create a movement of change agents by reaching out to large numbers of enthusiastic volunteers and to provide them with direction and support. Innovation will be key to finding newer ways to bring in more volunteers and engaging them in meaningful and impactful collective action. You will also spearhead CRY's landmark initiative - the Public Action Groups that enable people from all walks of life to take action on behalf of children in the cities/localities that they live in. Your weekends will be action packed with volunteer meetings, discussions and planning sessions.

With lots of space for experimentation, this role promises a new challenge and a new high every single day as you create hundreds of advocates for Child Rights to ensure no child in this country will ever be deprived of a childhood.

You
You must be a Post Graduate in Social Sciences or Social Work from a reputed institute. You must have 5 - 7 years experience in mobilising/ working with youth/ volunteer groups, leading a team of young minds and have demonstrated the ability to multi task. Strong written and oral communication skills in English and the local language are essential. It would also be a great advantage if you have knowledge on rights based activities and an understanding of urban governance and/or urban social development issues.
