Job description :
The position is expected to handle the entire value chain related to emission reduction business and assume overall responsibility of the ‘Emission Reduction Business Unit’. Specific scope of work could include the following –
* Interacting with various business development teams and identifying the qualifying projects;
* Registration of qualifying projects under CDM and any other applicable mechanisms;
* Tracking the global and local carbon markets;
* Interacting with the potential buyers and spot exchanges to identify appropriate market opportunities;
* Track and analyze global climate policies;
* Advise the business development team on related trends;
* Going forward, upon introduction of the trading mechanism on Renewable Energy Certificates, the position is expected to work on developing strategies to monetize these certificates.
Candidate profile Renewables
This position will be assisted in general by the business development, legal and finance teams.

Profile Statement

- I am, a Post-graduate in Business Administration (MBA), someone who comes from a middle class family, and also who can always change the negative aspects into positive one, to achieve the objectives. I am equally comfortable with English as much as with my mother tongue Tamil, which I feel is strength in me. I have got supportive parents who constantly inspire me and have stood by me at the most adverse situations. Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big or to do something different and my dream is to become an entrepreneur. I am inspired by people who are optimistic and keep a positive posture in all kinds of situations. Great achievers like Mr. Narayana Murthy of Infosys are the role models I bank upon for inspiration. - With B.B.A Business Administration in my bachelors and with a strong interest in for Human Resources Management, I have chosen HR as my functional specialization in MBA. I have done Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Change Management, Entrepreneurship Development, and Strategic Human Resource Management as specialization courses in the final year. With involving myself in the real-time project on ‘Employees Attitude towards Employee Welfare Measures’, I intend to focus my career in challenging opportunities in Human Resources sector. In today’s scenario we find that Human Resource is the back bone of any organization irrespective of any sector. My passion is to be a part of Human Resource department and serve the people in the organization. My milieu is also expected to help in this career path.

- In addition to education, I have always been fascinated by sports and games, right from my school days. As a member of cricket and football team in school and college, I have contributed substantially in the team’s many victories in intercollegiate and league matches. I have also athletics sportsmanship in racing. I have also participated in Chess and Carom matches at the college level.
