About Us:
AFD was conceived in the year 2000. AFD is an institute run by an Alumnus of the National Institute of Fashion, Technology, New Delhi. Several students had approached the founder, of AFD over the years for assistance in preparing for the NIFT/NID admissions. There was a need for a comprehensive course that could provide a clear guidance to the NIFT/NID/CEED examinations. An urgent need was felt for a tutorial which could impart training to secondary school students , such that these students could be completely equipped for the NIFT/NID entrance exams.

- More than 1 year experience in processing of satellite data acquired by optical, thermal and hyperspectral sensors; image interpretation, classification and composition of maps for customized output generation.
- Spectral library generation for various crop classification using Hyperspectral Remote Sensing
- Operational knowledge in working with PCI Geomatica, ERDAS imaging and ENVI image processing software.
- Working knowledge in processing of hyperspectral data, atmospheric correction, signature generation and classification.
- Working knowledge in ARCGIS and Arc/INFO GIS towards spatial database generation, integration and query generation.
- Working with Field Spectro-radiometer for collection of hyperspectral profile of different objects and processing for generation of signature library.
- Working with Global Positioning System (Garmin, LGS, Magellan) for collection of field intelligence, navigation and satellite data registration.
