Academic project
Title : Studies in hormonal control of differentiations in Garcinia indica.
Location : PTC Division, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune.
Project summary : Mature seeds of Garcinia indica were excised from mature fruits and cultured on woody plant medium with different concentrations of BAP. Somatic embryos were obtained within a period of 2-3 weeks. Embryo induction was observed all over the explant surface. Origin of embryo and effect of concentration of BAP on somatic embryogenesis was confirmed histologically. Germination and elongation of these embryos was also achieved on the medium supplemented with BAP.

Title : Studies on Microbial Siderophore.
Description : - Siderophore is iron specific ligand produced by organisms when iron is low in environment. It has lots of application in different field such as in drug delivery by conjugate with drugs. In many diseases it use such as malaria, hemochromatosis, in ß-thalassemia, and also removal of toxic metal and transuranic elements form body. Some siderophore antifungal and antibacterial activity and kill pathogenic organisms. In agriculture field it provides iron and other metal ions to plant (PGPR). I had isolate siderophore producing organisms form soil and main work done was its FT-IR and measure its size my nano particle SIZE ANALYZER also find its antifungal activity against pathogenic fungi.
