Pharmacology - Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics

Position : Research Scientist

Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : Group Leader

Education : M.Sc/M.Pharm (experienced) or Ph.D

Experience : 4 – 5 years DMPK experience (Should have worked in a DMPK lab with renowned Pharma)

Desired Skills
· Cross-functional knowledge of analytical, metabolism, in vitro and in vivo methodologies for DMPK.
· Experience in developing bioanalytical methods (LC-MS/MS), particularly for quantification of NCEs, drugs and metabolites in biological matrices.
· Establishing and conducting in vitro protein binding, CYP inhibition, reaction phenotyping and metabolic stability assays.
· Background in structure elucidation using LC-MS/MS for identification of metabolites is highly desirable.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, including word-processing, graphics and spreadsheet programs.
· Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary drug discovery teams.

Job Description-Designing and conducting PK/DM studies and interpreting and reporting data; Supervising scientists conducting studies related to in vitro ADME; the candidate will also be responsible to develop and apply appropriate analytical methods to quantitate drug and metabolite levels in biological samples.
