    - Experience Profile : Having 10 years experience in Highways & Rural Roads construction. During my services I have worked with National and international agencies of civil engineering const. and consultancy firms on domestic and IL&FS (ITNL), World Bank, ADB, JBIC Funded & projects. I am well familiar with modern const. equipments, machineries, plants being used in construction of National Highway Projects and also have good experience of quality assurance/control systems. In National Highways Projects. I have worked in flexible as well as rigid pavement construction including highway structures (e.g. RCC. Minor bridges, box culverts and pre-stressed major bridges on well, pile and open foundations). I have sufficient familiarity/knowledge of MORT & H specifications, IS codes, IRC, construction contract specification being adopted in the construction of N.H. Projects. During my past working experience I have gone through the followings in the field of materials testing, analysis, mix designs and calibrations:
    - Design & analysis of Pavement Quality Concrete and DLC Mixes.
    - Design of asphalt mixes for Dense Bituminous Macadam, Semi-dense Bituminous macadam, Bituminous Concrete (using 60/70, 80/100 grade of bitumen) and Bituminous Concrete using CRMB (crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen), PMB (Polymer Modified Bitumen).
    - Structural concrete mix designs from M15 to M40 grade of concrete (using admixtures e.g. super plasticizers, retarders), road Kerb mixes, bridge railing mixes (using 12.5 mm down agg.) & cover block mixes.
    - Design of WMM, WBM, drainage layer material and GSB.
    - Setting up of the project laboratories for being used to soil, concrete and bituminous work.
    - Determination of bearing capacity of soils at founding levels by N-value and C-F values (by SPT and Triaxial tests).
    - Classification of soil of different strata by sub-surface soil exploration (for well foundation and pile construction).
    - Testing of bitumen (S-65 and S-90), CRMB, PMB, Cut-back, emulsion for different test parameters.
    - Testing of cement, bricks, concrete cubes, concrete beams for their suitability as per construction contract specification.
    - Testing of borrow materials (to be incorporated into the permanent work) for different properties e.g. MDD, OMC, CBR, Atterberg limits and deleterious contents.
    - Testing of OGL soils for their suitability.
    - Calibration of laboratory equipments such as vibration testing machine, calibrating containers and pressure gauges etc.

    The project work entails widening the road to a median divided four - lane dual carriageway facility over a length of 48.00 km.
    Responsibilities held
    - Design of asphalt, concrete and DLC, PQC mixes in association with Contractor’s representative.
    - Calibration of concrete plant, hot mix plants, wet mix plants and laboratory equipments.
    - Helping to Material Engineer to Liaise with HE, BE to ensure that all testing and designs are undertaken in timely manner and the contractor is not delayed in his work programme.

    The project work entails widening the road to a median divided four - lane dual carriageway facility over a length of 33.2km.
    The widening is generally achieved by the construction of a new embankment adjacent to and abutting the existing roadway embankment, with some realignment of complete highway at selected locations involving separate embankment construction.
    Strengthening of the existing Carriageway is achieved by the use of an overlay in bituminous concrete.
    A total of ten bridges including one Major Bridge for a length of 528 m, having Well foundation and Pile foundation with Pre-stressed I-Section Girders, forty three culverts, two underpasses and three cattle creeps are to be constructed.
