Main Project : IGBT Control On Electrostatic Precipitation IN MATLAB
In TRAVANCORE TITANIUM PRODUCTS 66 KV is used as the input supply & is stepped down to 450 V by aiding two 500/600/800 KVA (tapping)transformers. These transformers are of delta-star type.
As the load connected to the company is of inductive type, there may be a high difference between the real and reactive powers during peak load and off load conditions.
It will affect the entire load of the company and due to this reason; the ESP will also get affected.This may lead to the decrease in operating efficiency of ESP.
So the desired output is not achieved.
To prevent this reduction of the output we are using the IGBT based control circuit.This circuit will provide constant voltage and current to the ESP.Thus the ESP could provide constant output since it is supplied with constant input.In this controller circuit design of IGBT, it contain certain rectifiers, filters (which are of LC type), and inverter circuits.
