- Academically sound with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. NDT Level- II (UT, RT, MPT & DPT), ASNT Level –II & CSWIP 3.1 certified Welding Inspector.

QA/ QC Inspector- Welding
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensuring all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
- Reviewing corrective actions recommended in non-conformance reports, initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of non-conformity.
- Instrumental at Control of Repair Welding, Review and Interpretation of Radiography films and witness of other NDT for Piping and Structural work.
- Review contract scope of work, client specifications, procedures etc. Also conduct Review of inspection and test plan (ITP) of piping and mechanical.
- Review material test certificates, inspect fabricated jobs, coordinate with the contractor QC Engineers, and perform mechanical inspection of jobs and issue final inspection release note.
- Daily Surveillance inspection at site and report submitted to QA/QC Senior personnel for information.
- Entrusted with the task of preparing Non-Conformance report, damage Report & Follow up Corrective Action Records.
- Performing the material inspection of all mechanical equipment and accessories & verification of all parts as per material package list & summary.
- Preparation of Quality Control Plans, ITPs & Inspection Schedules..
- Conduct welder qualification or recruit welder with valid qualifications to the approved WPS, witness Welder test & review welder certificates.

- Review all project Metod Statement, Quality Control Plan.
- Checking the availability of latest specification & procedure.
- Checking the fit-up of joint and inspected all data during welding.
- Reviewing & Selection of WPS for Welder Qualification, Certification & to execute the job.
- Witnessing welder Qualification as per as per SEC IX.
- Inspection of pipe and creating the report.
- Selection of the NDT for weld joint
- Major responsibility is of NDT inspection like DPT, MPT & UT of above ground piping, under ground piping & structure.
- Witnessing of the Holiday Test during pipe lowering in trench.
- Verifying the trench elevation & slop within tolerance for U/G piping
- Checking the sand bedding & lay the piping system for backfilling..
- Ensure controlling of Quality Format, Procedure & Specification.
