Project Name : DSL Loop - Availability Management Network Qualification
AT&T has widespread presence in United States in the field of telecommunication services. Project Lightspeed is one their major initiative to ensure delivery of VoIP, Enhanced Broadband and Switched Video Services to the Consumer Market through deployment of fiber in all the 22 states. The fiber will terminate to a DSLAM. The DSLAM will connect to the (F2) copper pair which ultimately terminates at the Customer’s premise. The movement of the DSLAM into the neighborhood significantly expands the capacity of the pair to the residence, to the point where the three products can be provided simultaneously to the home.
AMNQ project provides Lightspeed Service Availability information (including VOIP availability) for new and existing customers from legacy target system to clients. It is a middlware application and provides services to around 32 clients. On an average 2 million existing or probable Customers check availability of some or the other product on daily basis and AMNQ has to maintain SLA of 99.9 % uptime.
I am involved in following activities :

- Testing EJB and JMS for deployed applications using different test scenarios.
