    Baggage Operations Controller
    Working as a Baggage Operations Controller I was successfully involved in a project which helped Emirates Airlines considerably reduce their mishandled bags. This was achieved by introducing new working methods and re-writing their processes and procedures. I was also actively involved in training Airside team leaders in use of hand held terminals (HHTs) on high security flights like British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Delta Airlines which require double screening of bags. Last but not the least I was involved in preparing briefsheets for customer airlines after meeting the respective airline managers. This helped down line staff to be aware of specific requirements for individual customer airlines.

Accounting for punctuality of all assigned flights and to ensure an acceptable level of on-time departures achieved. Finally being the focal point of airside customer service for all customer airlines, recording accurately all relevant details of individual flights to enable post flight reconciliation and investigation.

    Ramp Operations Team Leader
    Duties involved supervising the loading and unloading of different types of aircraft, liaising with Emirates Sky Cargo for quick transfer of cargo, coordinating with ground dispatchers, airline representatives and load control officers and keeping them in the loop. Supervising the handling of dangerous goods, valuables and live animals and certifying the loading instruction report form. Also during the course of work experience have been sent on various training courses offered by several airlines for dedicated handling.
