Projects Undertaken
(1) Title : MICROMOUSE
Duration : January 2010,College Project
Description : This project comes from the IEEE sponsored Micromouse Competition. Robots participating under the official rules of the competition must solve a three meter square wooden maze by finding a route to the center and making timed speed runs, all within an allotted time period. The robots cannot have human feedback for solving the maze, and any intervention with the robot, for example tore place batteries, will result in a time penalty .The maze is divided into 16x16 cells, configured before the event so that competitors do not know the layout. Robots must have the ability to sense walls and cannot touch or run into walls .A great deal of flexibility is permitted in the design of the robots, with only a few requirements specified in the official rules. This particular design is based on a two-wheel concept that has been used by several other groups; however both the hardware and software are completely original.
(2) Title : R-APDRP
Duration : November 2010 – Till date.
Description : Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, has launched the Restructured
Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Program(R-APDRP). The program spans from data acquisition at distribution level till monitoring of results of steps taken to
provide an IT backbone and strengthening of the Electricity Distribution system
across the Country under the program. The objective of the program is
reduction of AT&C losses to 15% in project areas.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop, and coordinate testing activity.
- Participate in walk-through and requirements reviews to ensure understanding and testability of new functionality.
- Quality checking.
- Call & Participate in the Committee Meeting to finalize upcoming functionality.
- Writing Test Cases according to the Test Scenarios and Business Requirements.
- Preparation of Test Data for the Test Scenarios & Test Cases.
- Executing the Test Cases, Documentation and Reporting & Verification of Defects.
- Following up with development team for defect resolution.
