    TPSC Recruitment 2010 : Sub-Inspector, Principal

    TRIPURA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

    DIRECT RECRUITMENT
    Applications are invited in the prescribed Form from the bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the below mentioned posts under the Government of Tripura:-

    Item No. 01: 08 (SC-1, ST-3 & UR-4) posts of Principal, Government (General) Degree Colleges, Group-A Gazetted under the Education (Higher) Department, in the Pay Band of Rs.37,400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs.10,000/- and a special pay @Rs.2000/- per month plus admissible allowances.
    Educational Qualification:-
    Essential :-
    (i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F. (ii) Ph.D or equivalent qualifications. (iii) Total experience of 15 years of teaching/research in Universities/Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education. Relaxation :- (i) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the SC/ST category. (ii) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September, 1991. Desirable :- (i) The candidate should be an eminent personality in the field of Higher Education. (ii) Administrative experience in a responsible position.
    AGE :- Maximum 50 years as on 08.11.2010. Relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Government Servants.

    Item No. 02: 1(one) pmt(UR) post of Inspector of Factories, Group-A Gazetted under the Factories & Boilers organization under the Department of Labour, Government of Tripura in the Pay Band-4, Rs.13,575-37,000/-and grade pay Rs. 4800/- plus admissible allowances.
    Educational Qualification:-
    Essential:-
    (i) At least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Minimum 6 (six) years experience in production/Maintenance /Safety Departments in factories of repute. OR Minimum 5 (five) years experience in a responsible position in factories inspection works under the Directorate of Factories of any State Government or the Central Government. .Desirable:- (i) Administrative Knowledge & experience to run a District-level office independently. (ii) Knowledge of Bengali. (Experience relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified).
    AGE :-(i)Up to 40 years as on 08.11.2010.Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/SC candidates & Government Servants.

    Other Important information related with all above items:
    (1) The number of posts to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requirement of the Department.
    (2) The last date of receiving application is 08.11.2010. The application(s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.
    (3) Prescribed Form availability: The 4(four) pages printed application Form will be available from any of the total 111 nos. of Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank located at different places of Urban and Rural areas in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.
    For the candidates outside of the State, the said prescribed Form can also be down loaded from the Website http://www.tpsc.gov.in and in that case, the prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid to the Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (Core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission. The said deposit Bank Receipt is to be affixed with the filled up application form in the specified Box on the 1st page of the form.
    (4) Rate of Recruitment Fee : Group-A Post :-Rs.200/=(Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.150/= (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL Card Holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.Group-C Post :- Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred} only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL Cardholders / Physically Handicapped candidates.
    (5) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
    (6) The applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the respective post(s) on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.
    (7) The application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates as noted in the application form may be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of 08.11.2010 (the closing date) & to obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number.
    The candidates who are to send the application by post, also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No.,Item No.and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by
    the Commission by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidates. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.
    (8) The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be final.
    (9) Assessment and evaluation of the answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external authority.

    Date, time and venue of Screening Test / Interview of the eligible qualified candidates will be notified in due course.

    IVR technology is also being introduced into automobile systems for hands-free operation. Current deployment in automobiles revolves around satellite navigation, audio and mobile phone systems.
