PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to:-.
- Be responsible for Design and Development of Cast steel Gate, Globe and Check Valves.
- Be responsible for benchmarking of existing design w.r.t. global competitive market

Responsibilities
Initiate and oversee with internal & external customers for getting appropriate inputs/product specifications for valves developments.
- Ensure Timely completion of project and verifying effectiveness of each step during design and development.
- Interface with manufacturing plant for product development.
- Ensure appropriate output of product development as per the customer requirement.
- Product qualifications, Approvals, Certifications as per customer specific / special standard requirements. E.g. seismic, shock, IBR, API Monogram etc.
- Responsible for new product design and optimization. To prepare & finalize design of the product & coordination to establish the desired product performance. To ensure that the internal customers (sectors) are given necessary technical assistance/ training.
- Support to sectors in terms of site visits, to understand/resolve the issue.
- Actively contribute in image building of company through presentations at conferences & to customers for different activities carried out.
- To handle special tenders and enquiries for sectors.
- To prepare marketing leaflets, catalogues, literatures.
- Preparation of monthly reports, AOP, budgets etc as per departmental needs.
- Contribute to product cost estimation.
- Need based support to other valve products.

We manufacture in our shop parts required for Gear Pump. I am responsible for key part of gear pump called Pressure Bush, handling vertical machining center (Mazak CNC). Also responsible for production from BFW controlled machine, handling 15-20 peoples and see over the supply of finished parts to Assembly.
