Duties & Responsibilities :
* Working with the Global HR head, develops the Human Resources strategy and aligns it to support the overall business plan.
* Manages the areas of Talent Management, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS of the India Human Resources function.
* Responsible for remaining current on all regulatory and legal changes regarding HR compliance and requirements and subsequent compliance.
* Maintains positive employee relations through consistent and fair application of company policies/practices
* Counsels management and staff on employee relations issues, interpretation of company policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Works with managers on discipline issues, terminations, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
* Updates and maintains Human Resources policies
* Anticipates issues/concerns in the organization and develops appropriate action plans
* Recommends, develops and implements programs to sustain positive employee morale and increase employee retention
* Assists with HR projects, as needed
* Any other duties, which may be assigned or necessary.
Skills/Requirements :
* Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Human Resources and general business practices.
* Demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines (employee relations, recruitment, compensation, training, benefits, etc.)
* Proven ability to interact with senior level executives
* Proven ability to handle sensitive/confidential information and situations with diplomacy, patience and tact.
* Has a proactive problem-solving attitude to be able to identify, address, and resolve issues that may arise.
* Excellent planning and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail.
* Customer service focused with effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
* Education, Certification, Training and/Or Minimum Qualifications
* 10+ years prior experience in Human Resources, high-tech environment strongly preferred.
* 5+ years prior management experience
* Masters degree in Human Resources/Business or equivalent.
* Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
* Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and HRIS skills.
