    Job Role :
    To develop Business plan and achieve all India Sales target of Applikon range of Online Process Instrumentation Products.

    Responsibilities :
    1. Achieve set Sales Target (~ Rs. 6 Crores) for Applikon Products for All-India market.
    2. Make Business Plan for Applikon in India.
    3. Will be the main contact point for Applikon BV, Holland regarding Sales, Competition data & issues, Product design issues and Service issues & support.
    4. Identify and develop relationship with Project Consultants working on Turn-key Projects.
    5. Travel all-India extensively for enquiry generations, tenders, sales negotiations, finalization, etc.
    6. Responsible for taking care of issues which cause or may cause Customer dis-satisfaction.
    7. Will be directly supported by a Sr. Sales Executive and Service Specialist and indirectly supported by a team of Sales & Service personnel across India.

    Competencies Required :
    1. Minimum 10 years of experience in selling Process-line Instruments.
    2. Preferably having experience working with Project Consultants or in Process Instrumentation line.
    3. Good marketing & selling skills.
    4. Graduate in Science or Engineering.
    5. Good inter-personal & organizing skills.

    Working with M/s.YOKOGAWA INDIA LTD.
    YOKOGAWA is one of the leader in the field of process instrumentation and I am handling all field instrument products like various Transmitters (PT, DPt, LT, Wireless), Flow meters ( Magflow, Massflow, Vortex, Ultrasonic flow, DP Based flowmeters, Rotameters), Liquid Analyser (pH, Conductivity, Concentration, Turbidity, Chlorine, MLSS, Density analyser) and Gas Analysers (O2, CO, CO2, Sox, NOx, Gas Density), Controllers and Recorders, Data Acquisition Systems.
    From Nov-2000 to March 2009, I had been Heading YOKOGAWA - Surat Branch office as BRANCH IN-CHARGE and responsible for their South Gujarat Area business from Bharuch to Vapi/Valsad District.
    From April-2009 onward, I have been shifted to Baroda Office of YOKOGAWA with additional responsibility. In addition to South Gujarat Area, special responsibility for Business Development of Key Accounts like L&T Units, RIL Units, Grasim Units, GAIL, ONGC, IOCL etc has successfully executed - with one person directly under me. Also extending support to other colleagues for certain accounts and specific JOB/Project – being senior member of the team.
    My present Job responsibility involves generation of enquiries – preferably with supporting specifications – so that company can enjoy monopoly business with good margin and can convert those enquiries in to orders by regular follow ups with all concern people involved in the decision making. Regular activity includes technical discussions, application exploration, duplication of successful applications, normal & tender proposal submissions within time schedules, commercial negotiations and timely delivery of the materials.     Main competition is from Emerson, ABB, Honeywell, E+H, GIL, HACH, Eurotherm etc and hence having knowledge of these make products also.
    Also responsible for upcoming projects, suitable co-ordination with other offices and pro active activity for the same.
    Being Senior member of the team, I am part of all internal meetings for future business strategy, competition analysis, internal analysis and strategic decisions. Also carrying considerable target of Baroda Region
    Regular Training form member from YOKOGAWA- Japan & from third party is also received for technical part as well as for managerial aspects.
    Undergone thru Training for YOKOGAWA Wireless Transmitters given by R&D person from YOKOGAWA – Japan. Also working a nodal point for Wireless activity in Baroda.
    Presently I am handling various chemical, petrochemical, power plants, refineries, pharma units, paper plants, POY units, Fertilizer plants, OEM, Few dealers (For some specific segments), Various consultants & Trunkey venders - covering PSU and Private sectors and hence having reach experience of process, applications, advantages and disadvantages of the products and various make. Proper positioning of the products is very important and is being done smoothly.
    Achievements in Job done so far :
    1) Never Missed Annual Targets
    2) Bring up the target level on individual basis to a new height at YOKOGAWA
    3) Target of individual Area and Branch has been bring up to a new level as compared to earlier people – YOY grown from last 10 years is 25-30% consistently
    4) Best Sales Person Award in 2004 (This was the only year when this award competition was done and I was the only person to achieve the same on individual basis)
    5) Award for highest Analysers sales every year from 2000 to 2005. After 2005, this analysis on individual basis was not done and then was being done on region basis. After 2005 to till date, maintaining Baroda office on TOP for highest Analyser sales where major contribution is from my side.
    6) WON almost all internal competitions & Prizes for various products with different criteria for qty/value/application/first time ordering.
    7) Completed 10 YEARS Service at YOKOGAWA and received appreciation certificate.
    8) Received Appreciation certificate from YOKOGAWA – Japan for a specific success – which was unique and first time in the WORLD.
    Intend to operate from Baroda due to personal reasons.
