Engineer Hardware Specialist

Location : Bangalore, India

Reports To : Sr. Manager Projects

Department : Global Delivery

Job Description :
• Usage of automated Bug tracking / Project Management systems for activity management and
reporting
• Prepare site specific documents (line diagrams, etc.) and provide them to Implementation team
• Ensure TeleDNA installations at customer site are maintained as per standards
• Monitoring and controlling of activities done by SI
• Set KROs for self as directed by reporting manager
• Ensure WPSR/TimeSheet are routinely done
• Conduct training for team members

Responsibilities :
• Timely complete implementation of hardware and OS (deployment/configuration/Training)
activities at customer premises
• Verification of hardware BoM as per the PO. Follow up to deliver any short shipment.
• Handle on-site O&M and support activities with respect to hardware and OS
• Routine sanity checks for proper operation of hardware (till handover to Tech Support Team)
• Debugging of issues and resolution

B.Tech:
TITLE: LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT: The aim of this project was to apply principles of robotic to real world applications. The interesting point in this project is that, sensing a line and maneuvering the robot to stay on course, while constantly correcting wrong move using feedback mechanism forms a simple yet effective closed loop system.

M.Tech:
TITLE: Interfacing Instruments to PC using RS 232: The aim of this project was Instrument interface with Pc done by using virtual instrumentation (LabVIEW) via RS-232 serial communication. By Using NI-VISA, to create RS 232 Serial READ/Write communication VI in LabVIEW to interface any serial communication port of PC.
TITLE: Identification of Sudden Cardiac Death Using Spectral Domain Analysis of Electrocardiogram (ECG): The aim of this project is distinguish the Electrocardiogram (ECG) of a normal healthy human from that of a patient who may suffer from Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD). Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) on QRS complex was used to extract information from the ECG signals providing the basis with which a signal suggesting predisposition of the patient to suffer a cardiac arrest can be differentiated from a normal signal.

Academic Achievements:
1. Secured ALL INDIA RANK 195th in GATE 2007
2. Stood school second in 10th class.
