Designation : SENIOR SCIENTIFIC OFFICER
Job Description : · Able to develop independently fermentation/ bioreactor process for high productivities of mammalian culture based products. Additional understanding of yeast and viral fermentation is desirable.
- Must utilize the fermentation designs, operations and processes to troubleshoot the problems in existing processes
- Able to document the process clearly.
- Able to write high quality development reports and coordinate technology transfer.
Desired Profile- Conceptual knowledge of fermenter / bioreactor which must include but not limited to principle of microbial growth, experimental designs, processes designs etc.
- Operational knowledge and experience for fermenter/ bioreactors handling at 2-30 Litre scale either alone or in team which must include but not limited to preparation and operation of bioreactor, product recoveries etc.
- Analysis of Bioprocess data which should include but not limited to data presentation, process parameter analysis and modeling etc.
- Knowledge of cGMP/GLP.
- Comfortable with working in shifts.
Experience : 0 – 1 year if Phd / 3-5 yrs. if M.Sc in Biopharmaceutical companies or Academic
: (Central Universities & IITs or equivalent only).
