WORK EXPERIENCE :
- Presently working at Mahabeej Biotechnology Centre, Nagpur, as a BCIL trainee under the project entitled “Identification of Citrus Greening Bacteria infecting Citrus plants”. We used specific primers to identify these bacteria from infected citrus leaves sample.
Nature of duties : As follows-
- Isolation of DNA from infected citrus leaves samples.
- PCR using specific primers to identify Citrus greening bacteria.
- Restriction digestion of PCR product containing DNA of Citrus greening bacteria.
- Gel electrophoresis to visualize DNA bands.
PROJECT WORK : M.Sc. IV Sem
- M.Sc.IV sem sixth months dissertation work done at NEERI, Nagpur under the guidance of Dr. Asha. A. Juwarkar on the project entitled “Biodegradation of oily sludge”
SKILLED USED :
- Preparation of pure culture.
- Biosurfactant production via different organisms using different hydrocarbon sources.
- And their emulsification properties.
