4-7 years industry experience with a B.E in Electronics & Communications.

Responsible for the development of next generation optical and networking products

Job Description :
* Responsible for high-speed board logic design including specification.
* Schematic entry, board timing analysis is a part of the responsibilities.
* Work closely with signal integrity, EMI and PCB layout groups.
* Hardware design, board bring up including software integration.
* Test code and test case preparation.
* Card level and system level testing.
* Work closely with assembly house.
* Vendor Interaction.
* Product release to production.
* Documentation of the designing process.
* Product certification.

Key Skills :
* Handle Signal Integrity and Controlled Impedance in both pre layout & post layout.
* Handle Micro chips and mini BGA components with High-speed design concepts.
* Ethernet Switch/Routers Testing.
* Card Level Testing, System Integration & Testing.
* Documentation.

Preferred Experience :
* Understand the given design and implement the specific task assigned.
* Min 3 years experience in PCB layout, with knowledge of 6 - 10 layers of PCB layout.
* Fiber Optics Knowledge preferred.
* Hands on experience of at least one 6 layers PCB layout.
* Work under limited supervision to complete the assigned task.
* Should understand the key hardware modules and system architecture.
* Enhance self with Technical skills for implementation of Hardware Tasks e.g.
* Technical orientation towards various Development Tools, Processor, etc.
* Writing test cases for Unit testing and performing unit and Integration testing.

OrCAD/ PADS/ Cadence (Experience in schematic editor, layout, PSpice) HyperLynx (Experience in Signal Integrity tool), Any other PCB design / Layout Packages.

Curriculum Project:
Project Title: “Experimental characterization of carbon-epoxy composites with ceramic coating”.
Brief Overview of Project: The objective of our project is to determine the material characteristics of carbon-epoxy composites designed by us. Our project consists of fabrication, experimental testing and analysis of eight ply composite laminate. As the main disadvantage of carbon-epoxy composite is that it gets oxidized at higher temperatures, we fabricated two types of composite laminates, one without ceramic coating and another with ceramic coating. Then a small comparative study of material as well as thermal properties has been made. Then the test specimen is theoretically analyzed using Ansys 2.0 and to determine the following material properties.
