India for Light Commercial Vehicles, Medium Commercial Vehicles and Heavy Commercial
Vehicles.
ERP System Handled : Baan Environmental Configuration System (BECS).
- Functional areas and responsibility are as follows.
- Responsible for the introduction of Costing System and continuous monitoring of the accuracy of data’s maintained in the system .
- Responsible for the preparation of various KRA and KPI of the company to evaluate the performance on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Responsible for the MIS and various Analytical reports to the management.
- Responsible for fixing the Standard cost of the Raw materials and Components as per the policy of the Company.
- Responsible for the valuation of WIP and Finished Goods in ERP
- Responsible for the fixation of Standard Machine Hour Rate, Labour Hour Rate and Over Head rate on the yearly basis for standard Cost Calculation and on monthly basis to find the actual cost for the analysis of variance.
- Responsible for the Standard Cost of the Parts, Spares,, Sub Assemblies and Components
- Responsible for the analysis of the Variances like Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Machine hour rate Variance, Raw Material variance, Labour and Over Head variance
II. Past Experience :
i. From 01.02.09 to 31.06.10 as a Manager Costing in M/S.TYCO FLOW CONTROLS LTD,
US based MNC, CHENNAI, Manufacture of Heavy Pressure and Slurry Valves
Having two Units 2 units.
ERP System Handled SAP ECC6.0

- Functional areas and responsibility are as follows.

- Responsible for the introduction of Costing System in Two Units.
- Responsible for Month end closing of Accounts and Year end closing of accounts in SAP.
- Responsible for mapping GL with Profit centre and cost centre.
- Responsible for conducting the monthly performance meeting of the company.
- Responsible for the preparation of various KRA and KPI of the company to evaluate the performance on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Responsible for the MIS and various Analytical report to the management.
- Responsible for retrieving data from Hyperion for the Production Meeting.
- Responsible for fixing the Standard cost of the Raw materials and Components once in a six month by considering the weighted average cost and future expected increase
- Responsible for monitoring the negative value of WIP and FG in Month end process and corrective action to rectify the errors.
- Responsible for the fixation of Standard Machine Hour Rate, Labour Hour Rate and Over Head rate on the yearly basis for standard Cost Calculation and analysis of variance with the actual on monthly basis.
- Responsible for the cost run of the Product after checking the Bill of Material (BOM),
Routing and Standard Cost of the Individual items, Sub Assemblies and Components.
- Responsible for the analysis of the Variances like Purchase Price Variance(PPV), Production order variance, Machine hour rate Variance, Raw Material variance, Labor Variance and Over Head variance etc.
- Responsible for the Presentation of the Quarterly Performance Review of the Plants .
- Responsible for the classification of Stores inventory as A,B,C items and Cycle Count of the Stores Items on daily basis and reporting the Management the variances on Weekly basis.
- Responsible for the fixation of Bench Mark for all cost center and works centre .
- Responsible for finding out Cost of goods Produced (COGP) and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) on monthly basis and variance analysis of the of the individual products after considering the Fully Absorbed Cost(FAC).
- Responsible for monitoring the Days on Hand (DOH) of stores items and On Time Delivery(OTD) of the Products to ensure Cost reduction in these areas.
- Responsible for the identification of Cost Reduction in the areas of Power, RM, Components, Stores ,Consumables etc..(Non Moving Items ) by analyzing the age of the stock and re-usage with some modification by coordinating with Operation Excellence(OPEX) team.
- Responsible for the validation of OPEX saving of the OPEX Team

ii. From 01.01.07 to 31..12.09 -2 years M/S Lakhsmi Ring Travellers limited,(LRT)-
As Head Costing. It is an associate of Lakhsmi Machine Works (LMW) Coimbatore having 6 units-Ring Travellers manufacturing units, Textile machinery manufacturing ,Foundry and Coating Centre-.

- Responsible for the introduction of Costing System for all 6 units of the Company
- Responsible for the Balance Score Card of the units
- Responsible for Setting of the organization Goals and objectives, fixing of Bench mark based of the last year performance to all levels from Managers to Supervisors
- Responsible for the Monthly Production Report consists of Key Result Area (KRA) and Key Process Indicators(KPI).
- Responsible for the monitoring the Plant Utilization, Efficiency, machine Hour rate for Machining Centers and Ring Traveller Units. Yield % ,Melting loss for Foundry division, etc through MIS to Top Management
- Responsible for the fixation of standards for all cost center and works centre and machines of each units.
- Responsible for Randomly checking of physical stock with Bin Card and System stock every month and 100% checking for every Quarter.
- Responsible for the Cycle Count of the items in stores.
- Responsible for the various Cost reduction measures and fixing the Bench mark through BSC by targeted Cost approach.
- Core member in Price Fixation and Revision of Price during negotiation with Clients.
- Preparation of Budget and Budgetary control Measures.
- Responsible for Cost Sheet and Profitability for Individual Products showing the Direct and Indirect Cost elements. Variance analysis showing Material, Labour and Over Heads Calculation of Machine Hour Rate, Fixation of Standard Machine Hour Rate, Analysis of Machine Hour Variance.
- Responsible for Calculation of Spindle run Efficiency, Machine Capacity Utilization and Over all Plant capacity Utilization
iii.From 01.06.04 to 31.12.06 (2 Years) in GTN Engineering Ltd , 100% EOU ,Manufacture of High - Pressure Petroleum Gate Valves as Dy. Manager Costing & MIS.-4 units
