Job responsibilities :
- Maintaining all cargo agreements, Pursue summary of all cargo agreements and prepare list of pitfalls.
- Assisting in feasibility study of logistics plan for rail/road bound cargo.
- Raising Invoices/Debit Notes/Credit Notes to the customers/agents and follow up for the Payment.
- Laytime / Demurrage-Despatch calculations for the rakes/vessels call at Dhamra Port and negotiation with the customer for the same.
- Coordination with railway for placing indents, generation of RR and responsible for all rake operation related documentation.
- Maintaining the ERP of the Port as well as the customer (TSL) timely for the smooth operation.
- Sending reports like 'Daily Stock Report', 'Daily Vessel Schedule', ‘Port Performance Report’ and several other MIS reports to the customer as well as internal departments.
- Assistance in strategic project.
- Coordinating field visits of prospective customers, Presentation on Port and providing them the relevant data.
- Stack yard Management for BMHS (Bulk Material Handling System) and assisting in allocation of plots to different customers for Iron ore / Lime Stone / Coal.
- Involved in planning for semi-mechanised unloading at Dhamra.
- Responsible to achieve the GDR/GLR, minimize demurrage of vessel/rake and handling loss.
- Given assistance in finalization of SOP (Cargo operations), Implementation of Port Operating System, preparation and finalization of port hand book and scale of rates.
- Finalization of SOF.
- Cargo reconciliation with the customer.
- Responsible for all IMWB activities.
