Reports to :Art Director

Relevant Exprience : 8-10 years

The concept artist is responsible for framing the artistic vision of the game and works closely with the Art Director to create outstanding pieces of concepts of characters, environments, vehicles, weapons etc. that would allow the rest of team to execute the vision.

Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Art Director, Creative lead, Game designer and the lead Artist in framing the Art direction of the game and shelling out various concepts required which can be executed in an optimal manner using the given technology. Identify, categorize, prioritize and schedule the work with minimal supervision.

Requirements :
* Strong portfolio demonstrating ideation as well as high quality images of character, environment and other forms of art.
* Experience with rapid-iteration of drawings and paintings suggesting atmosphere, lighting and form
* Strong understanding of anatomy.
* Creative problem solver.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Outstanding traditional art skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
* Passionate about video games.
* Must be proficient in Photoshop.
* Basic understanding of game engines and game art pipeline.

Additional skills (Pluses) :
Knowledge of 3D software packages like 3DS Max, Maya etc. and knowledge of texturing.
