Art Director

Location :Hyderabad

Reports to : CEO

The Art Director directs and guides the Art team in creating top notch Art content for games. He would ensure that the vision for the game is well briefed to the team and they embark on the right path. The Art Director will be responsible for documenting and scheduling asset development, managing a hybrid in-house/contractor talent pool, assigning tasks to art staff, and ensuring overall content quality. The Art Director will work closely with the Creative lead, Associate Art Director, game designers, producers, programmers, artists in framing the artistic vision of the game and executing it.

Responsibilities :
* Work with the Development team in defining the artistic themes and the feasibility.
* Create game content, document the design process, style guide, Art bible and communicate/publish it to the Art team.
* Mentor and manage the Artists with tools, techniques.
* Review game design, and later into the development - review actual live game-play. Provide feedback with respect to all design aspects of production, including art, UI, performance, and file sizes.
* Assist in developing marketing materials to support product launches, including product icons, screen shots, banner ads, and dedicated web page.

Requirements :
* Manage teams and creative resources effectively
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Outstanding organizational and project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and keeping projects on track.
* Must be a self-starter and have sustained initiative.
* Ability to work effectively in both individual and team settings
* Prior experience in developing games, preferably casual online games.
* Strong artistic knowledge to evaluate feasibility of design documents and tradeoffs when considering implementation plans.
