Description :
The DTC ID Safekeeping and Settlement project is designed and developed as a new application to allow communicating with the DTC (Depository Trust Corporation Inc US) independently from ASP, TAS and other BNYM systems.
The DTC ID safekeeping and settlement solution is based on construction of new GTM DTC ID system within the existing GTM application removing the dependency on TAS (Trust accounting system) for processing ID trades by global clients. The confirmation, affirmation and matching capabilities that currently exist in GSP, TAS and ASP are centralized within the target state new GTM solution.
The current process of TAS NDM communications with DTC are replaced with real time asynchronous communication using MQ messaging with multi threading and multi piping capabilities.
The new GTM DTC ID solution will ensure reusability of current infrastructure services wherever possible and provide flexibility to bring on new business without significant investment in technology.
