Job Summary :
The leading algorithmic trading provider seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer for its state-of-the-art trading system currently in use for futures, F/X, and equity market making.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
o Test Analyst is required to perform manual and automated testing for theQA team.
o Experience of QA testing is required.
o Must be prepared to be hands on, both with the manual and automated test development.

Responsibilities :
o Developing and executing Manual Test cases
o Should be proficient in QF Test/ Win Runner/ QTP
o Writing new automated test scripts for regression/ functional testing
o Maintaining and extending existing scripts/ automation framework to accommodate changes in the functionality
o Design scripts that meet the Best practices and the industry standards for easy maintenance and extensibility
o Manage automated test suites including source code control and integration with test management tools
o Issue reporting and tracking
o Interfacing with development teams
o Data validation using database querying tools
o Test data generation
o Test scenario automated simulation planning
o Generate and execute SQL scripts
o Write Java Programs to simplify testing
o Automated Test script execution

Special Circumstances (e.g. shifts, travel overseas, hours) :
o Possible London or New York work hours
o Travel to New York intermittently for 2-3 months

Requirements :
* 0-5 years minimum working in QA testing
* Solid experience of testing enterprise systems
* Proficient with test automation tools for automated test script development, management and test execution
* Manual test case development and execution
* Issue tracking to closure
* Financial application testing would be an added advantage
* Understanding of Java 1.4 core APIs, including collections, multi-threading, JavaBeans, and XML technologies would be added advantage

* Experience in complex, cross-functional testing
* Candidate should be committed to join within a 5 - 6 weeks timeframe after confirmation
* Should not come with dependent's issue for relocation, role specific requirement, and drastically different salary expectation after confirmation
