* You understand search engines’ algorithms almost as well as the search engines do themselves.
* You can do a comprehensive audit of a website to arrive at its strengths and weaknesses from the SEO perspective.
* Understanding in depth both off-page and on-page optimization like blog submissions, search engine submissions,article submissions, PR submission and others
* Plan, target and then work towards all on-page and off-page SEO activities for your campaigns – be it for local or international clients.
* In depth knowledge of ethical/ white-hat techniques accepted by major search engines Google, Yahoo, Bing etc.
* Handling Meta Tags & Keywords, understanding of web statistics and analytic tools, solid knowledge of XML Feeds, RSS Feeds, Atom Feeds, good understanding of keyword density in page content, browser compatibility issues, removing unproductive keywords, image tagging, maps tagging etc
* You can take the onus of improving rankings and/or traffic to a website through your inputs and efforts.
* You don’t need spoon-feeding. You’re a self-starter and you’re resourceful.
* You love big challenges and you sense big shifts – you KNOW that the old advertising order is going the way of the Dinosaur and that Digital is the future.
* You’re a multi-tasker – you can handle a diverse number of concurrent activities.
* You push hard for results – you can translate strategies and plans into winning action.
* You have logical thoughts and excel at presentation skills.
* You’re pretty good at number crunching/ analysis & deriving meaningful action.
* You are strategic in your approach.
* You have an eye for detail & passion for perfection – you won’t let crap get by you.
* Knowledge of tools, websites, blogs on SEO/SMO, sound knowledge of Google Webmaster guidelines and Google analytics tool, keyword research tool.

Your task at hand:

* Ability to come up with required SEO strategies meeting Client requirements. Research and analytical background.
* Ownership and accountability of campaigns
* Ability to handle end-to-end SEO. Starting from an initial audit of a site, to making recommendations and then putting those recommendations to work.
* Implementation of SEO program : on page, off page optimization, Site Audits, Keyword, Research, Head and Body Recommendations, Technical Recommendations and forum search and competitor analysis
* Interaction with clients whenever required with a sound knowledge of all technical issues related to search engines and SEO friendly websites.
* Regular reports to monitor the work done and results shown.
* Project Management: Strong at project planning & strategy, keeping up to timely project schedules. Continuous process enhancements.
* To work with the communication partners in each team: Writer, Designer, SEM specialist, Analyst to create compelling and result-driving communication for clients.
* To work with your team to drive home the strategic importance of SEO so that clients no longer see as a small-time AMC and instead give it the due value it truly deserves
