How to Apply
Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility norms may forward their application (addressed to Sr. Manager (HR) at the above address) on plain paper with complete bio-data including Name, Mailing Address, Date of Birth, Nationality, Educational qualification (from school onwards) with year of passing, Percentage of marks, whether belonging to reserved category, Experience, Details of Employment (period with dates, Post held, Nature of Duties and responsibilities), last emoluments drawn with full details of various components, a recent passport size photograph affixed on the application along with a Demand Draft/Bankers’ cheque of Rs.500/- (not applicable for SC/ST/PWD category) drawn in favour of Power Finance Corporation Limited payable at New Delhi (in case applying for more than one post, separate application may be forwarded) and superscribing the envelope with the post applied so as to reach on or before the 18.10.2010. In respect of applications received only by post (by Post/ Speed post)from the candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island or Lakshadweep or abroad, the last date for receipt of applications is 25.10.2010. The benefit of extended date will be available only in respect of applications received by Post/ Speed Post from the above mentioned areas/regions. In case of applications received by hand or through courier service, benefit of extended time will not be available regardless of the place of residence of the applicant. PRESENT EXPERIENCE : -
Joined LANCO INFRATECH LTD. as an Asst. Manager (E&M) from 07/07/08 to 31/03/2009. Thereafter promoted to the post of Dy. Manager (E&M) i.e. within a period of 9 months of joining LANCO INFRATECH LTD. Lanco Infratech Ltd. is executing Budhil Hydro Electric Project (2 x 35 MW) in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Duties & Responsibilities : -
Assembly & Alignment of spiral case, Guide Apparatus, Turbine, Stator Assembly, Rotor Assembly, Lower Bracket, Top Bracket etc. Erection of BOP items like GIS, Power Transformer, EOT crane, Cooling water system, Drainage & Dewatering system, HVAC system etc.
Duties includes planning of site activities so that E&M activities do not interfere with the civil works. Preparing schedule & monitoring it, so as to complete the project in the given time. Liasoning with local authorities for 11KV supply to powerhouse for the construction activities.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE- :
As an Electrical Engineer from March 2006 to July 2008 in Himalayan Crest Power Limited (Hydro electric power plant 2x1.5 MW) a Group of CLC GLOBAL ENTERPRISES.
Duties & Responsibilities : -
- Erection,commissioning & testing of Pelton turbine.
- Erection,commissioning & testing of Generator.
- Erection,commissioning & testing of 33 KV switchyard.
- Erection,commissioning & testing of BOP items.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE : -
As an Electrical Engineer since September2003 to Feb. 2006 in Aar Vee Controls (Pvt.) Ltd, Noida manufacturer of MCC, PCC, AMF, Drive & L.T. Control Panels and doing turnkey projects.
