Description / Responsibilities - Inspects and approve the new components.. - Implement Part Approval System for New product supplier parts. - Maintain NPD QA System. - Ensure development/ Usage of tools such as QFD, DFMEA, PFMEA,etc., for NPD. - Preparation and application knowledge on modern tolls like APQP, PPAP, Bench Marking,etc., - Work with Manufacturing, Materials and R & D(CFT) to meet the requirements. - Plan and Organize necessary tools, instruments, gauges for NPD QA. - Assign responsibilities to Inspectors/Associates. - Problem solving in assembly line/supplier end/field. - Ensure lessons learnt from various models/ projects are incorporated in next projects. - Work with various functions for smooth introduction of Design modification. - Knowledge on Gauge design & planning, drawing study, control plan preparation, work instruction preparation, inspection techniques, manufacturing feasibility study with suppliers and other NPD QA day-to-day activities. - Field study/Customer voice capturing as and when required. - Knowledge on ISO/TS & Special processes.

Required Skill / Experience - Good Planning and Analytical ability. - Application knowledge on APQP, PPAP. - Knowledge on customer end applications & service practices. - Problem solving QC tolls. - Hands on experience in measuring instruments and testing equipments. - Basics about gauge calibration system. - Usage/Application of ERP systems to approve/ reject the parts.

Preferred Skill / Experience - Good Communication skills. - Good documentation skills. - Interpersonal skills. - Work with concurrent engineering team. - Work with CFT. - With never give up attitude. - Hands on experience. - Costing knowledge is prefered.
