WAN Engineer
The candidate should ideally a Diploma / Bsc / BE or graduate. Preferably should completed MCP & CCNA / CCNP /CCIE certified. (Hands on experience in this stream will decide the certifications desired) Minimum 2 to 4 years experience, good communications skills, attitude, customer oriented, willing to learn and able upgrade the skills on demand of the industry.

Skills :
Should be a very good LAN engineer first. Strong basics on DNS/DHCP are a must. Need to have strong concepts of protocol usage, Monitoring Links etc. Good in install configure Router & switches. Understand network traffic management, bottleneck of the network, monitoring the LAN/ WAN traffic, the bandwidth utilization and generating reports evaluating system performance under normal and degraded condition. Carrying periodic fine-tuning to ensure that the network availability is at peak. MIS generations. Coordinating with ISP. Basic knowledge on Solaris is really an added advantage. Need to know configuring VLAN and applying ACL. Should be good in routing and be able to design a network with static routes. The combination of the above skills is mix-match for various L1 & L2 positions. Good knowledge on OS will be an added advantage with specifically OS like Unix flavors.

Project 1 : In B.E.
Project Name : Almond Coupling Mechanism.
Description : The project model of almond coupling is a right angle drive mechanism comprising links, input and output shafts and piston operating in cylinders. The working of the mechanism is explained as under:-
1) The input shaft rotates in bush bearing.
2) The ball and socket joint convert rotary motion to swiveling motion.
3) The swiveling motion is converting in to horizontal reciprocating motion by the piston in the cylinder of the almond bush.
4) The almond bush reciprocating in the vertical support and the input power gets transferred at right angles on the output side. Identical motions are repeated on the output side.
The center lines of pistons on the input and output sides generate a geometrical curve similar to an almond nut. (i.e. BADAM) and hence the mechanism is called the Almond Coupling right angle drive transmission mechanism.

Project 2 : In Diploma
Project Name : Maintenance of Water Cooler.

Seminar:
Title : Centralized Lubrication System.
Description : It is the automatic method of providing lubrication and saving machine time.

Paper Presented:
Titles : Pulse Tube Refrigeration.
Description : It is a cryogenic refrigeration method using a regenerator and pulse tube. Pulse Tube Cry coolers have been used in industrial applications such as semiconductor fabrication and in military applications such as for the cooling of infrared sensors.
