Highly experienced in R&D (bench scale, pilot plant and plant scale) of various chemical unit processes and chemical unit operations, HAZOP studies, Product Raw Material Costing, Preparing and handing over Plant SOPs to the project team, Plant commissioning, Technical know-how generation/ absorption and implementation. Should have thorough knowledge on Batch Processing & Continuous Processing. Should be capable of handling Team of Researchers & Doctors.

Qualification: Should have good knowledge on Organic Chemistry.

Experience Post Ph.D spanning more than 12 Years.

PROJECTS UNDER TAKEN
1) BE: Title: “SIX SIGMA” in maintanenance department at HINDUSTAN LATEX Ltd. Kanagala, BELGAUM.
- Procedure followed is DMAIC process.
- Define phase: Problem in Blistering packing & Compression machine was defined.
- Measure phase: Collected the data regarding m/c performance through company records.
- Analyze phase: Analyzed the problems using six sigma tools like bar charts, pie chart.
Cause & effect diagram was framed for major problems like
1) Blister formation 2) Knurling problem 3) Roller problem
- Improvement phase: Optimal solution was developed and tested a plan of action for implementing and conforming the solution.
- Control phase: Checklist list was provided to control the defects.
2) MTECH: Title: “COMPUTERIZED LAYOUT DESIGNING” in production department at LINCOLN HELIOS Pvt Ltd, BANGALORE.
- Procedure followed was using designing algorithms & objective was to reduce the material handling cost in production dept.
- Layout problem was considered only of production dept.
- Initial layout was framed with help of AutoCAD and REL charts were derived and TCR calculation were performed and total cost matrix was derived for existing layout.
- Systematic layout planning was done using designing algorithms.
- Algorithms are:

CORELAP: Computerized relationship layout design procedure. Layout was developed using this algorithm and REL chart &TCR calculations & total cost matrix were done for this layout. This layout was further improved and different solutions were obtained.

ALDEP: Automated layout design procedure. Existing layout was framed and then it was improved accordingly Industrial Stds to get different solutions.

CRAFT: Computerized relative allocation & facilities technique. Existing layout was framed and then it was improved accordingly Industrial Stds to get different solutions.
- “C” programme was developed for analyzing the optimal solutions of all initial & improved layouts.
- Improved ALDEP layout was the optimal solution for initial layout, which reduced the material handling cost.
