Innovative light weight composite energy absorbing keel beam system has been retrofitted in aircraft & helicopter in order to improve their crashworthiness performance.
PROJECT :
Title : Experimental & Numerical Analysis of Composite Leaf Spring.
Tools : ANSYS Software, handled UTM machine.
Details :
Composite leaf spring is fabricated by hand lay-up technique& tested. The testing was performed experimentally with the help of UTM & by using ANSYS software showing stress & defalcation were verified with analytical & experimental results .Compared to steel spring, the composite leaf spring has stresses that much lower, the spring weight is nearly 85% lower.
